My current site is “good enough.” Why fix it now?

That depends on how you define “good enough”.

Are you confident your website is turning visitors into clients, and growing your business? Do you have the measurable data to back up that feeling? Because if you’re not, or you aren’t even measuring your results, then how do you know it’s doing anything—let alone helping you grow your business?

From Google’s own research we know that people form their opinion about your website (and by extension your entire business) within the first 0.05 seconds, and 94% of that opinion is influenced by the design of your site. If your website is slow to load, doesn’t work on their phone, doesn’t look professional, or they can’t see exactly what they came for in that fraction of a second, you’ll most likely lose them as a potential client. And worse yet, 88% of those visitors won’t return to give you a second chance—still think your website is “good enough”?

If your website isn’t directly persuading visitors to call you, building trust and positioning you as the go-to-expert in your space, then at best it’s doing nothing for you, at worst it’s actually chasing your clients away. You work hard on your business, why wouldn’t you demand the same from your website?
